Naomi Brownson is a Licensed Acupuncturist who has recently relocated to Moscow. She holds a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and is a nationally certified Diplomate in Acupuncture and in Chinese Herbal Medicine. She is a past member of the Idaho State Board of Acupuncture.
Naomi had a private practice in Boise from 2003 to 2010. In addition to her general practice, Naomi specializes in acupuncture in oncology, which she studied at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York, NY. From 2007 to 2010, Naomi was the acupuncturist at Mountain States Tumor Institute. There, she provided acupuncture along with lifestyle and dietary counseling to people living with cancer, through all stages of their western medical treatment, to relieve side effects and support their overall quality of life.
Since 1998, Naomi has been studying Qigong. She has been enrolled in the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School’s Qi Cultivation and Teacher Training program for the past 4 years, and is certified to teach several forms.
Naomi feels honored by the trust her patients place in her, and she is inspired by their willingness to grow and change as they work with their health issues. She is grateful to be able to share the many gifts that Chinese medicine has to offer.
When not practicing acupuncture and Qigong, Naomi and her husband delight in the new adventure of parenthood, as they feed and chase after and clean and laugh with and love their young son.

For cancer patients: (Higher rates reflect research specific to your condition as well as correspondence with your physicians.)
Initial treatment $120 for 2 hours
Follow up treatment $80
For all other patients:
Initial treatment $95
Follow up treatment $75
Please note that Noami is not currently contracted to accept insurance. However, she is happy to give you a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Naomi is currently seeing patients on Monday evenings, Fridays and Saturdays.
