***Please note that our costs listed below reflect a discount for payments received at the time of service (i.e when we are not billing insurance). If you have eligible insurance coverage, then only your co-pay or co-insurance is due at the time of treatment. Additionally, the base prices listed below do not include optional herbal formulas or extra modalities.

Insurance Information
Some (but not all!) insurance company plans provide coverage for acupuncture and related modalities. We bill only the insurance companies with whom we are contracted. Currently these companies include: Regence Blue Shield of Idaho and all affiliates in the Blue Cross/Blue Shield network; Asuris Northwest Health; Uniform Medical Plan; Assurant Health as well as any other company in the Idaho Physicians Network (IPN). If you are a participant in plans associated with these companies, please bring your current insurance card to your first treatment. You will be responsible for your deductible as well as co-pay or co-insurance amounts at the time of treatment. These are based on our billing charges which are higher than the ones listed above as customers utilizing insurance do not receive a discount for payment at time of service. If you have acupuncture coverage with a different insurance company, we are happy to offer you a specialized receipt in order to help you receive direct reimbursement from them. Please call your insurance company ahead of time to find out whether or not your specific plan has acupuncture benefits. Please note that neither Medicaid nor Medicare cover acupuncture services.
Discounts
Moscow Food Co-op Member Discount: $10 off the 1st and 2nd individual treatments. (We offer this as part of the Co-op’s Business Partner Program.)
Senior Citizen / Student Discount (with valid ID): $10 off every individual acupuncture treatment or $5 off every consultation, massage, and group acupuncture treatment.

Terms
Payment in full is due at time of service, or for insurance clients co-pay / co-insurance is due at time of service. We accept cash, check, Mastercard and Visa.
The cost of herbs is never covered by insurance companies, regardless of acupuncture coverage.
We reserve the right to charge for appointments cancelled without 24 hours advance notice.
We charge in full for “no show” or missed appointments. Please let us know ahead of time if you are unable to make it to your scheduled appointment.
We charge a $25 fee for each returned check. After a 3 month grace period, all unpaid balances are subject to a 12% annual interest rate (1% per month).
Any unpaid balance must be paid for before another appointment can be scheduled. If the payment is made with a check, the check must clear before additional scheduling can occur.
